Unique blend of green superfoods.

All too often our western diet, busy lifestyles and modern farming methods mean we get too little nutritional value from our food.   Each recommended serving of this powerful green supplement provides the nutritional equivalent of 5 – 7 servings of fresh fruit and veg in one go.  At less than 12 calories per serving and with no sugar, artificial additives, preservatives or colourings, Five a Day + is a convenient way of guaranteeing a healthy intake of natural enzymes, vitamins, minerals, proteins and antioxidants.

Among its many reported health benefits, this natural food supplement has been found to boost energy, aid detoxification, improve recovery and improve mental concentration.  It may also lower cholesterol and produce a measurable reduction in biological age.

Five a Day+ is more than a supplement.  It is a blend of whole foods and is suitable for all ages.  Made from chlorophyll-rich leafy vegetables and algae, it has exceptionally high concentrations of easily digestible nutrients to feed, protect and heal the body. To illustrate this, we have listed some key ingredients and their known health benefits below.  The list is not exhaustive but will give you some idea of the exceptional nutritional value of this product.

Spirulina

Spirulina is a cultivated blue-green algae, grown in the concentrated sunlight of Hawaii which makes it a rich source of chlorophyll and natural iron. It is the richest food in beta carotene and vitamin B12, making it highly beneficial for eyesight, skin health and energy levels. It is an amazing 65 to 71 % complete protein, with all essential amino acids in perfect balance.  As one of the highest known protein sources on Earth, spirulina offers vegetarians an ideal way to ensure sufficient protein in their diet. Studies have also shown that spirulina can help control blood sugar levels and cravings thus making it a key food for diabetics, and a healthy aid to weight control.

Chlorella

Chlorella is also a fresh water algae containing a complete protein profile, all the B vitamins, vitamins C and E and many minerals.  It is known for its positive effect on the immune system, lowering cholesterol, boosting oxygen levels and preventing hardening of the arteries, a precursor to heart attacks and strokes.

Soya Lecithin

Lecithin is known for its fat metabolising properties and for its positive effect on cardiovascular health, memory, brain function and cholesterol levels.

Wheat grass

Wheat grass is the sprouted grass of a wheat seed. Unlike the whole grain, because it has been sprouted, it no longer contains gluten or other common allergens.  A rich source of B vitamins, antioxidants and amino acids, it is believed to assist in blood flow, normalise thyroid function, improve digestion and boost overall detoxification of the body.

Barley grass

Another chloryphyll-rich, nutrient dense plant, barley grass contains perhaps the most balanced nutrient profile of all the green plants. It contains an astonishing array of vitamins, minerals and phyto-chemicals and is known for its anti-viral and detoxifying properties and for neutralising heavy metals in the body. Conditions believed to benefit from barley grass include arthritis, asthma, skin problems, obesity, anaemia, constipation, impotence, hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and kidney problems.

Kamut grass juice

Kamut is full of protein, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, fatty acids, lipids, and complex carbohydrates and is reported to deliver a variety of benefits including healthy digestion, increased energy levels and improved immune function.

Beetroot juice powder

Beetroot juice is rich in vitamins B vitamins and antioxidants as well as a wide range of minerals.  Its health benefits relate mainly to its reputation as a strong blood builder and purifier because it optimises the utilisation of oxygen and stimulates red blood cell production.

Alfalfa

Alfalfa is a plant which sends its roots twenty to thirty feet into the ground, absorbing minerals that are not available at the surface.  It is considered the richest land source of trace minerals and is also rich in vitamins and other nutrients.  It has been used for centuries to treat kidney, liver and bowel problems, relieve fluid retention and swelling, alleviate arthritis and lower cholesterol.

Other ingredients include: rice kernel membrane powder, high pectin apple fibre, Icelandic kelp, wheat sprouts, fucoxanthin, Nova Scotia dulse, co enzyme Q10, SOD, catalase, royal jelly, Jerusalem artichoke powder, lactobacillus and bifidus bacterium (lactose free) and ionic trace minerals.

    Five a Day + guaranteed

The whole family benefit from this super-food - we are all busy and although we have a fairly healthy diet, it's reassuring to know that we can get a high quality dose of nutrition in one spoonful. It also tastes surprisingly good - especially in lemon juice and water.

    Really impressed

I was suffering from glandular fever for the third time in the space of 3 years and was feeling very tired and had no energy. I had been off work for 3 months when a friend recommended Five a Day + to help with my lack of energy and to boost my immune system. I started by taking 3 spoons a day and I was back at work the following week. I was really impressed and looked at the other products especially the collagen supplement. When I was younger I had a bad fall resulting in back problems. I had been living with constant back pain for many years. I have been taking collagen and I am now pain free and able to do normal day to day things that I could not do before. I am even able to wear high heels again!

    five a day+

This is quite simply the best nutritional product we have ever consumed, bar none. It has a quite stunning effect on energy levels; it helps the body to cleanse itself more efficiently. Five a day+ is a must for everybody. We liked it so much we decided to promote it to our customers, as they are interested in improving their health as much as we are.

Why not invest in your health for the future? Just try it for a few months, and you will see what we mean. This is a superb product, with multiple health benefits, and is such good value for money.

    A five star rating doen't do Five a day+ justice, it needs a 10 * rating!!!
